Social media is a platform for communicating online. Activity in social media such as web logs, online forums and social networks has been increasing.
Koreans spend a significant amount of time on the Internet. More than half of all Internet users in Korea have accessed social networking. Like Obama's campaign in America, there are many examples of social media in Korea. In this paper, we analyze the issues of social media in Korea. In particular, we focus on candlelight rallies through social media and Afreeca TV in Korea. Also, we suggest TV SNS based on the case of Korea.
