How do you implement a restructuring and redesign of your portal? We've been using the Luminis portal system for well over five years. The organization, use, and implementation of the technology had become outdated and inconsistent. We'll review the multi-year process of evaluating, planning, and implementing a restructuring of a portal system amidst changing technology upgrades, resistance to change from faculty and staff, a need for greater usability and navigability and the political tug and pull between invested departments. The poster will cover tools and ideas on how to assess and implement changes not only to portal systems, but any cross-discipline/department system.
